UAB Blazers History
The UAB Blazers, representing the University of Alabama at Birmingham, have a storied history in collegiate athletics that began in the early 1970s. The university established its football program in 1991, and the Blazers quickly made their mark in Conference USA (C-USA) after joining in 1995.
