    Ferris State Bulldogs History

    The Ferris State Bulldogs, representing Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan, have a rich history in collegiate athletics that dates back to the late 19th century. The Bulldogs initially competed in various smaller conferences before becoming a member of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) in 1972.
