    Wild Nothing History

Wild Nothing is an American dream pop band formed in 2009 by Jack Tatum in Blacksburg, Virginia. It started as a solo project and quickly gained popularity with the release of the debut album, *Gemini*, in 2010. The album was well-received, praised for its lush instrumentation and Tatum's airy vocals, reminiscent of 80s indie pop. Following the success of *Gemini*, Wild Nothing expanded into a full band, allowing for a richer live sound as they began to tour extensively. The band’s journey continued with the release of subsequent albums like *Nocturne* (2012), *Life of Pause* (2016), and *Indigo* (2018), each showcasing their evolution in both studio recordings and live performances. Over the years, Wild Nothing has gained a loyal fan base, noted for their moody sound and nostalgic aesthetic. Their live shows reflect this, often featuring a blend of dreamy melodies paired with evocative visuals, making their concerts an intoxicating experience characterized by a unique blend of modern and retro vibes.
