    What So Not History

What So Not is an Australian electronic music project founded by producer Chris Emerson, also known as Emoh Instead, and later collaborated with Harley Streten, who is better known as Flume. The project began to take shape in 2011 and quickly gained traction in the electronic music scene with their unique blend of trap, bass, and future house. Their debut EP, 'The Quack,' released in 2013, was a significant milestone, showcasing their innovative sound and production skills. The duo's energetic live performances became a hallmark of their brand, with their sets filled with dynamic drops and engaging visuals. However, in 2015, Flume departed from the project to focus on his solo career, leaving Emoh Instead to carry on under the What So Not name. Since then, Chris has continued to evolve the project, collaborating with various artists and exploring new musical territories. His dedication to live performances has kept fans engaged, and he has built a reputation for delivering high-energy shows that resonate with audiences worldwide. Over the years, What So Not has performed at major music festivals, including Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Tomorrowland, captivating crowds with their electrifying sets and innovative mixes.
