    Victoria Grizzlies History

    The Victoria Grizzlies, a Junior A ice hockey team based in Victoria, British Columbia, were established in 2001. They originally began as the Victoria Salsa and were part of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL). The team's name was changed to the Grizzlies in 2006, symbolizing the fierce and competitive spirit of the players, as well as connecting to the local wildlife of British Columbia.
