    Uada is a black metal band formed in 2014 in Portland, Oregon. The band consists of members Jake Superchi (vocals, guitar), and Evan R. (bass, vocals). Uada's distinct sound blends melodic black metal with atmospheric elements, drawing inspiration from both traditional black metal and progressive influences. Their debut album, 'Devoid of Light,' was released in 2016 to widespread acclaim, establishing Uada as a prominent name in the black metal scene. The band’s second album, 'Catechesis,' released in 2018, further solidified their reputation, showcasing their evolving sound and lyrical depth. Uada is known for their intense performances and atmospheric stage presence, frequently using elaborate light displays to enhance the live experience.
