Third Day is a Christian rock band formed in 1991 in Marietta, Georgia. The band was founded by Mac Powell, Tai Anderson, David Carr, and Mark Lee, who initially played in various local churches and small venues. Their name, 'Third Day,' is derived from the biblical reference to Jesus' resurrection on the third day after his crucifixion, embodying their faith-driven message.
