    The Backseat Lovers, an indie rock band hailing from Salt Lake City, Utah, was formed in 2018. The group consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Joshua Harmon, lead guitarist and vocalist Kacy Cottrell, bassist and vocalist Jonny Hawkins, and drummer and vocalist Kyle Burch. Their sound blends elements of folk, rock, and pop, creating a unique style that has resonated with fans across the nation. The band first gained attention with their debut album, 'When We Were Friends,' released in 2019, which featured raw, emotional lyricism and a melodic approach. Their increasing popularity led to opening for bands like the Shins and performing at prominent festivals.
