Spineshank History
Spineshank is a nu-metal band that emerged from San Francisco, California, in 1996. The band's lineup consists of vocalist Jonny Santos, guitarist Mike Sarkisyan, bassist Rob Garcia, and drummer Adam Murray. They gained prominence in the late 1990s and early 2000s with their unique blend of aggressive metal and melodic elements. Their debut album, 'Strictly Diesel,' released in 1998, showcased their potential and helped them carve a niche in the heavy music scene. However, it was their sophomore album, 'The Height of Callousness,' released in 2000, that propelled them to mainstream recognition. The album featured the hit single 'New Disease,' which received extensive airplay on rock radio stations and became a staple in their live performances. Spineshank's energetic and dynamic live shows became a hallmark of their reputation, attracting a dedicated fan base. The band toured extensively with other prominent acts in the metal and hard rock genres, solidifying their presence in the live music circuit. After a hiatus in the mid-2000s, Spineshank reunited in 2015 and has since been actively performing, revisiting their classic hits while also introducing new material to their fans.
