    Snot History

Snot is an American nu metal band formed in 1995 in Santa Barbara, California. The original lineup consisted of frontman Lynn Strait, guitarists Mike Doling and Billy Squier, bassist John Fahnestock, and drummer Jamie Miller. Known for their aggressive sound and energetic live performances, Snot quickly gained a following in the late 1990s. The band's debut album, 'Get Some,' was released in 1997 and showcased their unique blend of metal, punk, and alternative rock. Tragically, the band was struck by the death of Lynn Strait in a car accident in 1998, which led to a hiatus. In 2008, Snot reunited with new vocalist Tommy Vext and began to perform live again, introducing their music to a new generation of fans. The band's history is marked by a legacy of blending heavy music with punk energy, earning them a spot in the hearts of many metal enthusiasts. Over the years, Snot has played at various festivals and concerts, further solidifying their reputation as a formidable live act in the music scene.
