    Princeton Tigers Hockey History

    The Princeton Tigers men's ice hockey team, representing Princeton University, has a storied history dating back to its inception in 1898. As one of the oldest collegiate hockey programs in the United States, the Tigers have developed a rich tradition in the sport. The team competes in the NCAA Division I as a member of the ECAC Hockey conference. Over the years, Princeton has produced numerous talented players who have gone on to play professionally, including in the NHL. The team achieved its greatest success in the early 1990s, with a memorable run to the NCAA tournament and a significant victory in 1998 when they reached the East Regional final.
