Mostley Crue History
Motley Crue, one of the most iconic heavy metal bands, was formed in Los Angeles in 1981, at a time when glam metal was taking the music scene by storm. The group consisted of lead vocalist Vince Neil, bassist Nikki Sixx, drummer Tommy Lee, and guitarist Mick Mars. Their debut album, 'Too Fast for Love,' was released in 1981 and quickly gained a cult following, but it was their subsequent albums like 'Shout at the Devil' (1983) and 'Theatre of Pain' (1985) that catapulted them to stardom. The band was notorious for their wild lifestyle, characterized by excessive partying and controversial behavior, which contributed to their legendary status in rock history.
