    Ivy Lab History

Ivy Lab, the dynamic British electronic music trio formed in 2011, initially made waves in the world of bass music and drum and bass. Comprising producers Sabre, Stray, and Halogenix, Ivy Lab quickly gained notoriety for their unique fusion of genres, drawing together elements from DnB, bass, and house music. Their early tracks, such as those on their influential 'Ivy Lab' EP, established them as pioneers in the sound known as 'halftime,' offering a fresh take on traditional drum and bass with slower tempos and deeper bass lines. Over the years, Ivy Lab has released several critically acclaimed tracks and EPs on their own label, 'Abstract,' while also collaborating with renowned artists and labels in the electronic music community. The trio has remained steadfast in their mission to push sonic boundaries while maintaining a distinctive, groove-driven sound. Their ability to captivate audiences through innovative rhythms and dynamic performances has solidified their place in the electronic music scene.
