Flipturn History
Flipturn is an American indie rock band formed in 2015 in Fernandina Beach, Florida. The group originally consisted of frontman Dillon Basse, guitarist and backing vocalist, and other members who came together during their high school years. Their unique sound, characterized by a blend of surf rock and indie pop influences, quickly garnered attention in the local music scene. In 2017, Flipturn released their debut EP, 'Heavy Colors,' which showcased their melodic hooks and introspective lyrics.
