Deerhoof History
Deerhoof is an experimental rock band that originated in San Francisco, California, in 1994. The band was founded by guitarist John Dieterich, bassist and vocalist Satomi Matsuzaki, and drummer Greg Saunier. Known for their eclectic sound that blends elements of punk, noise rock, and pop, Deerhoof quickly gained a cult following due to their innovative approach to music. Their early albums, such as 'The Man, The King, The Girl' (1996) and 'Reveille' (2003), showcased their unique style, characterized by unconventional song structures, off-kilter rhythms, and playful melodies.
