Architects History
Architects, the British metalcore band formed in 2004 in Brighton, England, have made a significant mark on the live music scene. Originally comprising of Dan Searle, Tom Searle, Alex Dean, and Sam Carter, their early work was characterized by a blend of heavy riffs and melodic elements, which quickly garnered them a dedicated fanbase. Their first album, 'Nightmares' (2006), laid the groundwork for their sound, but it was their subsequent releases, especially 'Hollow Crown' (2009) and 'Lost Forever // Lost Together' (2014), that propelled them into the limelight. The band's energetic live performances, characterized by intense stage presence and a passionate connection with the audience, have set them apart in the metalcore genre. They have toured extensively across the globe, sharing stages with renowned acts such as Bring Me The Horizon and Parkway Drive, and headlining festivals like Download Festival and Reading & Leeds. The tragic passing of founding guitarist Tom Searle in 2018 added a poignant layer to their live performances, as the band dedicated their subsequent tours to his memory, further deepening their emotional connection with fans. Architects' ability to evolve their sound while maintaining their core intensity has kept their live shows fresh and engaging, making them a staple in the concert circuit.
