FC Dallas Tickets
With a brief showing in last year's Western Conference, FC Dallas fans are pumped for the 2015. As one of the ten original charter clubs of Major League Soccer, FC Dallas’s on-field history dates all the way back to the league’s first season in 1996 (though they were known as the Dallas Burn up until the 2005 season). The team won their first game, which was against the San Jose Clash (who are now known as the San Jose Earthquakes ). They made it to the playoffs that season, but it was not until the following season that they got their first real taste of victory. In 2007, FC Dallas defeated the reigning MLS Cup champions, DC United, 5-3 on penalty kicks to win the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup.
FC Dallas' 2014 season was the most successful in recent years, due in part to head coach Oscar Pareja. Although they have only made one appearance in the MLS Cup championship game, losing to the Colorado Rapids 3-2 in 2010, they have finished first in the MLS Western Conference in both the regular season and the playoffs, in 2006 and 2010, respectively. FC Dallas also earned the honor of being the first MLS club to defeat a Mexican team in Mexico when they beat Pumas de la UNAM 1-0 in the CONCACAF Champions League in 2011. In 2014, they made it to the knockout round in the MLS Western Conference, leaving fans hungry for the 2015 season.
