Miss Saigon

The hit musical, Miss Saigon is now all set to play on West End. Since its London premiere in 1989, it has become one of the most successful musicals in the history of theater. It tells the story of the last days of the Vietnam War. A 17-year old Kim is forced to work in a Saigon bar, owned and run by a character known as the Engineer. While working for the Engineer, Kim meets and falls in love with an American GI named Chris. However, the two lovebirds are soon torn apart after the fall of Saigon. The next three years see Kim go on an extraordinary journey to find her way back to Chris, who is unaware of the fact that Kim is the mother of his child.

With more than 4,063 performances witnessed by over 5.9 million people already, Miss Saigon is a must watch. It will also be playing at the Palace Theater in Manchester on 31st March, 2018.

Kinky Boots

Winner of nearly every major Best Musical award, including the 2016 Olivier Award for the Best New Musical, Kinky Boots is all set to tour the UK in 2018. The musical will feature songs from Tony and Grammy winning artist, Cyndi Lauper, with direction and choreography by Jerry Mitchell of Legally Blonde and Hairspray. The Hollywood News has called the musical the “freshest, most fabulous, feel-good musical of the decade”. The award-winning musical, Hairspray, is all set for a West End tour. The lively production is based on the 1988 John Waters film by the same name.

The musical is set in 1962 Baltimore, where an overweight teen, Tracy Turnbald dreams of being a part of the hit local television show called The Corny Collins Show. To her misfortune, she fails to pass the auditions of the show mainly due to her weight and appearance. Soon, she is able to get a spot on the show by dancing for Corny at the high school dance. It isn’t long after this that Tracy gains super stardom and sets out on a path to change America and the prevalent views on racism.

The Sound of Music

Directed by the three-time Tony Award winner Jack O’Brien, The Sound of Music is all set to play at the Palace Theater on 17th March, 2018. The beautiful romantic story will follow young Maria and the von Trapp Family and will thrill the audiences with its award winning score.
