The play highlights how Macbeth receives prophecy from three witches that he will become the King of Scotland one day. This leads to him becoming obsessed with the ambition of ruling the country. He murders King Duncan and takes his throne, but soon the feelings of guilt and paranoia take over him. Macbeth then goes on to commit more murders to save himself and eventually enters the realm of madness which results in his own death.
Sleep No More – The Setting
Sleep No More takes place in the 1930s. This show is presented in a Promenade Theatre, in which the audience moves through multiple theatrically designed rooms.
