UTEP Miners Women's Basketball History
The UTEP Miners Women's Basketball team has a rich history that dates back to its establishment in 1975. Originally a part of the AIAW (Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women), the program became a member of the NCAA when it was formed in 1982. Over the years, the Miners have made significant strides in the sport, achieving multiple conference titles and NCAA tournament appearances.
