    RPI Engineers Women's Hockey History

    The RPI Engineers Women's Hockey team, representing Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, has a rich history that began in the late 1970s when the program was officially established in 1975. Initially competing at a club level, the team quickly gained recognition and transitioned to NCAA Division III in 1984. In 2000, the program advanced to NCAA Division I, joining the prestigious ECAC Hockey league. Over the years, the team has celebrated numerous milestones, including conference championships and NCAA tournament appearances.
