    Missouri Tigers Women's Volleyball History

The Missouri Tigers Women's Volleyball program began in 1974, establishing itself as a competitive force in collegiate volleyball. The team has a rich history, marked by significant milestones, including multiple appearances in the NCAA tournament. Throughout the years, the Tigers have seen various coaching changes and player developments that have shaped the program. Notably, the team reached new heights in the late 1990s and early 2000s under the guidance of coach Wayne Kreklow, who took over in 2000. His leadership helped elevate the team's performance, resulting in several NCAA tournament berths and a consistent presence in the top tiers of college volleyball. The Tigers have also produced numerous All-Conference players and have participated in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) since 2012, further enhancing their competitive stature. The combination of a strong recruiting strategy, a dedicated coaching staff, and a passionate fan base has been integral to the program's success over the decades.
