The Owen Sound Attack is a major junior ice hockey team based in Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada. Founded in 1989, the team was originally named the Owen Sound Platers and played in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). The franchise was rebranded as the Attack in 1995 after being purchased by a new ownership group. The team has had its ups and downs over the years, but it has consistently been a competitive force in the OHL. The Attack's home games are held at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre, which has a seating capacity of approximately 3,500.
