The Sleep Train Arena is one of Northern California's finest sports, entertainment, and special events venues. Located in beautiful Sacramento, CA, it is most famously known for being the home court of live high-flying basketball by way of Sacramento Kings tickets. It opened its doors in 1988, and since then it has regularly hosted over 200 major events per year. With nearly two million visitors annually, the Sleep Train Arena is one of the busiest venues of its kind in the entire United States.
This excellent venue has played host to many different types of events. There have been plenty of noteworthy concerts, ice shows, rodeos, monster truck rallies, wrestling events, UFC matches, and more. It hosted the 2007 NCAA Volleyball Championships, multiple NCAA Men's Basketball Tournaments, and Ultimate Fighting Championship 65 and 73.
Coming to the Sleep Train Arena is a thrill in itself. Of course, the event is what draws people to the venue, but having a world-class facility to host it certainly doesn't hurt. Guests can choose from a variety of seats to match any budget. There are 17,317 seats for basketball, 412 club seats, and 30 luxury suites. Whether you want to just catch the game in the crowd, or enjoy a fully catered luxurious evening out, the Sleep Train Arena has options.
Getting There and Getting In
Parking & Directions Sleep Train Arena is conveniently located about 5 miles from the Sacramento International Airport (SMF) at 1 Sports Pkwy Sacramento, CA. There are a few different ways to get there depending on whether you are coming from the north, south, east, or west. You can check the official Sleep Train Arena website for detailed directions. Be sure to leave early so that you can avoid pre-event vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
Parking is available on all sides of the Sleep Train Arena except for the North. Parking for Sacramento Kings game is $10, and other events are $12. Plan to bring cash, as credit and debit cards are not accepted. There is no guarantee that parking will be available, so try to leave as early as possible to ensure that you get a spot.
