    Fuel History

Fuel is an American rock band formed in 1989 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The original lineup consisted of singer Brett Scallions, guitarist Carl Bell, bassist Jeff Abercrombie, and drummer Kevin Miller. They gained significant recognition in the late 1990s with their powerful sound, which combined post-grunge and alternative rock elements. Their debut album, "Sunburn," released in 1998, featured hits like "Shimmer" and "Bittersweet," which received extensive radio play and helped establish their presence in the mainstream music scene. Following the success of their first album, Fuel released "Something Like Human" in 2000, which included popular tracks such as "Hemorrhage (In My Hands)" and "Bad Day." These songs showcased their emotionally charged lyrics and dynamic instrumentation, further solidifying their status in the rock genre. Over the years, the band experienced lineup changes, most notably the departure of Scallions in 2006, which led to a temporary hiatus. However, Fuel regrouped in 2010 and released a new album, "Angels & Devils," showcasing a return to their signature sound. Their history is marked by various tours and performances at major festivals, contributing to their legacy in the rock music landscape.
