Upcoming Events at the Blossom Music Center

For those of you who are headed to Ohio this year, the good news is that many amazing artists are all prepared to entertain you here. Let’s take a look at the few names that will be seen at the center soon:

Dave Matthews Band: The Dave Matthews Band certainly needs no introduction. The American rock group from Charlottesville, Virginia, was formed back in 1991, with founding members Dave Matthews, Stefan Lessard, Carter Beauford and LeRoi Moore. Boyd Tinsley also joined the lineup as a violinist, soon after the formation of the group. After Moore’s sudden death in 2008, Jeff Coffin, the Grammy-winning saxophonist took his place. The band’s album released in 2009, after the death of Moore, called Big Whiskey & the GrooGrux King, opened at number one on the Billboard 200. The album earned DMB their fifth consecutive number one debut. They are the first band with six albums to debut at number one.

Having sold more than 50 million records worldwide over the years, the group has been a very popular driving force in the rock music industry. They are known for their annual summer-long tours of Europe and the US, where they feature lengthy improvisational renditions of their songs, playing them differently every year. And this year is no different. They will be seen performing at the Blossom Music Center on 2nd June, 2018, at 7:30 PM, and you would not want to miss this!

Foo Fighters: Formed in Seattle, this rock band was created by the ex-Nirvana drummer, Dave Grohl, after the death of Kurt Cobain. The band quickly became popular, with their self-titled debut album in 1995, which earned a platinum certification in the US. Since then, the band has released a total of nine studio albums and 36 singles. Their latest album, Concrete and Gold was released in September 2017 and was their second album to reach number one in the US.

Over the course of the group’s career, they have won four Grammy Awards for Best Rock Album and have sold an impressive 12 million copies in the US alone. And now with all this success, the group is headed to the Blossom Music Center on the 25th of July 2018, to give a high-energy performance of their latest songs.

Zac Brown Band: One of the premier country bands, Zac Brown Band has been a pioneer in the promotion of country music. The group has released six studio albums so far, along with two live albums. Sixteen of their singles have charted on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart or the Country Airplay Chart. Thirteen of these have reached No. 1, including “Chicken Fried”, “Highway 20 Ride”, “As She’s Walking Away”, “Keep Me in Mind”, “Goodbye in her Eyes”, “Loving you Easy” and so on. Their first Atlantic album, called The Foundation, has been certified triple-platinum by the RIAA. The follow-up albums, Uncaged and You Get What You Give both opened at number one and are certified platinum.

The Zac Brown Band have collaborated with many big names in the industry, including Jason Mraz, String Cheese Incident, Jimmy Buffet, Alan Jackson, Kid Rock, Chris Cornell and Dave Grohl, among others.

The Zac Brown Band will be performing at the famed Blossom Music Center on 2nd August 2018, at 7:00PM and you wouldn’t want to miss it.
