Born in Ada, Oklahoma, on June 18, 1976, Blake Shelton began singing at the age of twelve. He learnt the skill of guitar playing from his uncle. At fifteen years of age, Shelton wrote his first song. Blake Shelton’s tenth studio album If I’m Honest hit the shelves in May of 2016. Produced by Scott Hendricks, it features collaborations with The Oak Ridge Boys and Gwen Stefani. The record sold over 150,000 copies within the first week of release and topped the Top Country Albums chart. It was the eleventh bestselling album of 2016 in the US.
