This place works hard: between its sporting events, concerts, and other events, the BB&T Center hosts over 200 events each year and welcomes more than 2 million attendees.

Located in Sunrise, Florida, the BB&T Center presente residents live National Hockey League action by way of Florida Panthers tickets. The indoor arena opened in 1998 after less than two years of construction totaling $185 million. Since then, the arena has been host to a variety of sporting events, including National Hockey League ice hockey games, youth hockey games, American Basketball Association games, boxing and mixed martial arts events (including the Ultimate Fighting Championship), and bull-riding. The BB&T Center has hosted the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, the 2003 NHL All-Star Game, and the 2005–2006 ABA All-Star game. Each year, the BB&T Center also hosts the MetroPCS Orange Bowl Basketball Classic.

In addition to sporting events, the BB&T Center hosts major concerts and family shows.
Jay-Z, Usher, Shakira, Aerosmith, Iron Maiden, Bruce Springsteen, Rihanna, Bon Jovi, Depeche Mode, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, and Michael Buble have all performed at the BB&T Center. The arena draws families in with family shows like Disney on Ice, Monster Jam, and Walking With Dinosaurs.

The BB&T Center can accommodate more than 20,000 guests for basketball games, more than 19,000 guests for ice hockey games, and up to 25,000 guests for concerts. The arena features more than 2,600 Club seats and 70 luxury suites.
 The BB&T Center Luxury Suites offer a private lounge area, personal service staff, a wet bar, flat-screen televisions, and private restroom access. The BB&T Center Luxury Suites include VIP parking passes with optional parking and additional ticket upgrades.

Getting There and Getting In

Parking & Directions The BB&T Center is located at 2555 NW 136th Avenue in Sunrise, Florida. Guests can take Sawgrass Expressway or Interstate 595 to reach the arena.

The BB&T Center has over 7,000 on-site parking spaces. Additional designated parking spaces are available for buses and oversized vehicles. While most of the parking spaces at the BB&T Center are in surface lots, 226 spaces are available in the Lexus parking garage. Suite and Club members can park in one of the 1,430 reserved Club Parking spaces. Accessible parking is available in 90 parking spaces near the BB&T Center. Guests can enter the parking lot beginning an hour and a half before each game. Parking fees are determined by ticket type for Florida Panthers games. Discounts are offered for pre-paid parking. Parking fees vary for other events.

Public transport is also available for travel to the BB&T Center. Route 22, Route 23, Route 36, Route 72, and Route 595e of the Express Bus all stop at the arena’s parking lot.
