Parking is available at various locations off of Biscayne Boulevard or North 2nd Avenue between NE 1st Street and NE 12th Street. More than 20 parking lots are within a ten minute walk of the American Airlines Arena.

Public transit is great not only for guests without a vehicle, but also for guests who wish to avoid traffic, parking, and parking fees. Multiple public transit options make travel to the American Airline Arena easy. The MetroRail, the MetroBus, and the MetroMover all stop near the American Airlines Arena. The MetroBus offers three routes that stop near the arena. Route 3 runs from Aventura Mall in the north to SW/SE 1st Street in downtown Miami. Route 16 runs from the Wal-Mart on NE 167th Street to NE 14th Street and the Arsht Performing Arts MetroMover Station and Bus Terminal. The MetroMover connects to the MetroRail at Government Center Station and Brickell Station. There are also several bus terminal connection locations. The MetroMover runs to major stops like Bayside Market Place and Miami-Dade College, offering a great way to get to and from the American Airlines Arena.
